Steve qualified at Sydney University in 1981 before spending 4 years in the Royal Australian Air Force as a dental officer with a keen interest in surgical dental procedures. Steve’s postgraduate education has included a year course in Surgical and Reconstructive Dentistry involving dental implants in 1992. In 1996 he completed the Diploma in General Dental Surgery and is experienced in the provision of safe intravenous dental sedation. Steve is a registered mentor with the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and a clinical coach for AstraTech UK Ltd to teach other dentists about implant dentistry. He is the chairman and founder of the Wessex Dental Implantology Society (WDIS) which provides postgraduate education for dentists and the dental team in dental implant work.

After qualifying from GKT (Guy’s Hospital) and spending a few years in General Dental Practice, Karim developed an interest in Root Canal Treatment (RCT). He returned to GKT and completed his Master of Science in Endodontics. Karim provides services in RCT work in selected dental practices. His work is limited to Root Canal Treatments for which he routinely uses a high magnification microscope. He accepts referrals from dentists in Hampshire for treatment as well as re-treatment cases. Karim is a member of The British Endodontic Society, is  the Chairman Elect of the BDA Tunbridge Wells section and the organizer of the Tunbridge Well Endodontic Study Club. He provides lectures and hands-on courses for those dentists who wish to persue their interest in this field.

Richard qualified at the Royal College of Surgeons in London in 1990 and has been working in General Dental Practice. He joined St Lawrence House Dental Practice in May 2009 and is moving towards a full time commitment from his current two days a week. He owns a private practice near Petersfield where he now works part-time. He has a firm commitment to post graduate education and training, spending three years on an Advanced Restorative and Research course in London, two years on a Restorative Dentistry course with the American Academy in London. Richard works with a youth theatre company which has performed regularly at the Theatre Royal in Winchester over the last twenty years. He sings and plays keyboards with a local Rock band.
