Jyothi graduated from the Bagalkot Dental College in Southern India in 2002. She spent her first year in general dental practice as a general dentist. Jyothi relocated with her husband in 2004 to the UK where, initially, she worked as a dental nurse in general dental practice for some 2 years before the arrival of her son, Ravi. Now that Ravi is at school, Jyothi is providing chairside assistance for both the specialty services of endodontics and dental implant surgery at St Lawrence House while she awaits her registration as a dentist with the General Dental Council.
Jyothi was the course leader and principal tutor to students for the Dental Nursing Certificate course ( NEBDN ) located in Portsmouth. She has now established Dental Arch Nurse Training  in Winchester as a centre of excellence and leading provider of dental nurse training and education for Hampshire and neighboring counties.

After leaving school, Karen gained her State Enrolled Nursing certificate at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and worked for 4 years at the Victoria Hospital that was located near St Swithuns School. Karen then gained experience as a dental surgery assistant at  2 dental surgeries in Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford. She completed her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1989 and gained some 16 years of experience before taking a short career break. During this break Karen worked for 18 months with Cambian Education Authority to help autistic children. Recently, Karen returned to Dentistry and joined the team at St Lawrence House in September 2012. Karen has expertise in assisting our visiting consultant with his root canal treatment.
